A life-long advocate for health and fitness, Bobby Wade is an experienced fitness instructor teaching EDF’s athletic strength, agility and facilitated stretch classes. As a retired NFL wide receiver, he understands the importance of making your body work for you. He’s excited to pass this knowledge on to the younger generation and help make an immediate impact on future professional athletes.
Athletic Expertise. Bobby is an Arizona native and attended Desert Vista High School in Phoenix, Arizona. There he was a student letter winner in football, track & field, soccer and basketball. As a senior, he was the USA Today High School Football Player of the Year and he helped lead his team to the Class 5A State Championship. In track & field, he won the Class 5A triple jump title as a senior. Bobby went on to college and played as a wide receiver for the University of Arizona Wildcats. In 33 games, he caught 200 passes for 2897 yards and 19 touchdowns.
Bobby was drafted to the Chicago Bears and over his 7 year NFL career, has also played for the Titans, Vikings, Chiefs, and Redskins. He now enjoys coaching youth football and is the Organization Leader for the AZ Saints. Bobby has a great appreciation for all sports, dance and other art forms.
A seasoned dancer for the last 25 years, Chezaray Wade is the founder and owner of Evolve Dance & Fitness. She loves kids and is passionate about encouragement towards a healthy and positive lifestyle, allowing them to grow as artists who can express how they feel and who they are. Chezaray is committed to making EDF her life’s legacy.
Chezaray started her dance career receiving 13 years of dance training at Bender Performing Arts, formerly Betty Johnson’s School of Dance. Within this time she received awards, scholarships, along with numerous apprentice study opportunities with well-known dance companies. She continued to study dance at The University of Arizona for four years while simultaneously launching her career teaching dance.
Soon after getting married, Chezaray danced professionally for six-time Grammy Award winner Toni Braxton in her headline show Revealed at The Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas, NV. After retiring from the show to have her first child, Chezaray continued to dance and expanding her knowledge of dance and fitness as a fun way to get back in shape. She couldn’t stay away for long, as she found herself teaching again! Chezaray teaches all styles of dance and acro at all levels, the technique and flexibility specific classes, and is a certified Zumba instructor – she loves to shake it!
The Business of Dance. Chezaray received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a Minor in Business Administration from The University of Arizona. She has a health and wellness business and will continue to share the knowledge of choosing a healthy lifestyle by incorporating it into her teaching.
